Today's verse of the day is from Psalms.
Psalm 138:8
8 The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me;
your love, O LORD, endures forever—
do not abandon the works of your hands.
The reason this is significant to me is because the sermon Sunday was about the Lord's purpose for me. I fully believe my purpose is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ; that he as God came to earth to be a man, that he lived a perfect life, that he died on the cross for my sins, that he was buried, and on the third day came back to life, and that because he did this, I will live in Heaven with him forever.
So I know my purpose. And I'm fairly certain I know my gift, or talent as some would say. I believe that I have the gift of Benevolence. So I know my purpose, and I know my gift. So how do I use my gift to accomplish my purpose?
This is the question that has been rattling around my brain this week.
