Okay, my tip for today is probably pretty well known, but I thought I'd share it anyway. If you have a yucky smelling garbage disposal, cut up an orange and throw it in. The citrus acids help cut the grease off of the disposal parts, and it smells good. If you throw in a couple of ice cubes, you also sharpen the blades at the same time.
Simple, but it Works-For-Me!

I did know this trick, but I forget to use it. I didn't know about the ice cubes. Coolness! (Pun intended. Am I my dad's daughter or what?)
Yes, buy the orange oil. It's pricey, but a bottle could last you a whole year. I don't follow the directions and use as much as they recommend. A little bit goes a long way, so my bottle lasts longer.
Love you. ((hug))
I always just pour some bleach down there. Never thought of using an orange.
I suppose that's much easier than an old toothbrush and Softscrub with bleach, which is what I've been doing. Thanks for the tip.
rid x also works we had a plumber suggest that one.
