I've been trying to follow the program, because honestly, I'm tired of being overweight.  I've been watching my dad get sicker and sicker and I don't want to be like that. I used the brownie pops pan from Wilton. After the brownies cooled, I made a disk of chocolate and sat one in each disk. Add a frosting top and a cookie straw and you've got a cute little treat!I can't take all the credit though. Sweet Pea saw the picture and wanted to make them. Although, I don't recommend using wheat flour. When my husband was in the military, my oldest daughter and I would travel back and forth between Georgia, Louisiana, and Arkansas.  If we were headed to Arkansas, our route took us through Tennessee. Nashborough.  It's a whole bunch of cabins set up in a recreation of where the first settlers in the area landed.  This was a good stop for us for a bunch of reasons. 1) It's history. We left Independence on a Saturday morning and went to Nashville.  We spent Sunday and Monday with my dad and Lynn (my step-mother).  Then we left Nashville Tuesday morning and went to Bossier City, LA.  We spent Wednesday and Thursday with Dale's family (Granny, Mom, BILs, SILs, and nephews and nieces). A big step for me is to stop drinking sodas.  About a month ago, I stopped drinking Coca-Cola and started drinking Diet Dr. Pepper.  For me, it's the one diet drink that is the closest to the real thing.  So, I've been drinking this for about a month, now right?  Sunday, I had my very last can.At least I thought I did. But this did not read like a "normal" non fiction book.  Mr. Patterson worked with Martin Dugard and did an amazing amount of research on both King Tut and Howard Carter, the man who discovered Tut's tomb.I found this book to be riveting.
